A super cool painting I saw in a hotel in Amsterdam. The art historian in me had a very snobby field day because this is such a cool homage to the Dutch masters/painting tradition. You got your still life, your landscape in the background (which is 70% sky with some turbulent clouds SO dutch), the group portrait (a la Rembrandt and Hals), the lace sleeves, and your Hals Graffiti (which in some ways is the most clever element of the piece). In short: I want this in my house.
